The sooner you stop thinking logically, the easier understanding today's world will be for you. I say this with much experience working for the guhvment! The hurry up and wait mentality is one that has been around for years and doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. Just like how it can take me 2 hours to install a new system here and takes the last 6 hours of the day to get the paperwork correct and to the correct person.

Nor do they relax on "Yellowhammer's version of Blue Moon"! Haha I manned up and finished the 6 pack cuz you were a swell guy and got it for me, but man I tell ya, that stuff was RUFF! My 2 32oz Dos Equis tall mugs last night sure had me relaxed though!

It's that kind of thinking that got us here buddy-roo. Fuck that. I'll be a minority, I'm cool with it.

 

I'm not saying you are wrong by any means. I'm actually right there with you and it frustrates the hell out of me to no end. I am just saying that is the norm nowadays and I don't see it changing for a while. Even if a change would mean less effort and more efficiency...not to mention higher morale, today's people are so afraid of change(including me with certain things) or just set in the ways of the past that they feel its not worth it. They think "well this way works(even though it really doesn't) so we will just stick with it"

I have always been of the mentality "Work smarter, not harder"...and I don't mean it from the lazy side of things.

I went into it expecting a lighter, more Blue Moon taste and it was more of an IPA taste to me. IPA is by far the worst tasting beer to me so that's all I could think of while I drank them, haha.
