    I like it!!

Anyway, I sold my e46 csl-goodied-out M3 years ago. Never should've sold it. I miss it all the time. Really enjoyed taking it to road course events and whipping around streets. I've always had 2 vehicles, so I didn't have to consider my leisure activities when purchasing. I love being able to throw bikes and surfboards, wet wetsuits, snowy boots/boards, etc in the back of the truck without a thought. That being said, if I had to chose just one, I'd probably still get the M with some all-weather mats and a roof rack. It's just ....more fun :) And if it matters, I got more compliments on the tacoma

You will miss your truck. And wait till you try replacing some parts. Stop by the bank first!

If you go with the BMW please don't get the blue in your original post. Get something bad ass like white or a non metallic.

Although I have no idea how one uses a BMW.

Keep the truck and get an e46 before they sky rocket. Here's my non-badass blue one...

Those E46's are damn near impossible to find in my neck of the woods, and I want one (non SMG, of course).

You will seriously be paying big bucks for parts after the warranty. It's a fact, not fiction....

Mine is a 2003 I bought in 2012 with 26k miles. Non-SMG 6sp. They are getting really hard to find clean examples that haven't been thrashed.

There's half a dozen by me, but they're all convertibles, which I definitely do not want.

Truth! I happen to work for the brand, love the cars, repairs(hell, the maintenance alone) will kill ya. I'm late to this party, didn't read the whole thread, i did see you are keeping the truck:thumbsup:. But seriously, great cars they do get expensive and "cheap" aftermarket parts don't cut it.

Right there with you on that! Wish mine was a slick top but it has a hole in the roof.

Been eyeing up your cross bars for a bit. Will likely place an order soon. LOVE your products.

Totally agree. If you can wrench yourself (I can) it's marginally more than a Tacoma. People let the maintenance windows slip and THEN run into big ticket expenses. I've had two of these (an e36 M3 before this) and its the same deal. Just maintain them.

I have a 2005 325xi and a 2015 Tacoma. M3's are expensive to run and maintain, my 325 not so much, it has 160k miles on it. Tacoma has 35k.
Both are fun to drive, the wind here makes for interesting driving in the truck, the BMW is glued to road no matter how hard the wind is blowing.

Couldn't live without a Truck. If you can do both that would be best. Sports cars are great, but far from practical for a daily. At least where I live.

I don't understand when people say that. How can you not live without a truck? Are you a farmer or something?
