    do the 16 in baja trd wheels have the same backspace as the stock 16 in steel wheels?

    thats what i was thinking as well. i guess my next question then is does anyone have 265/75/16 on stock steelies, stock height? i know thats the biggest you can go w/no lift, but i dont know if the alloys have a different backspacing allowing for the extra inch in width of the tire wo/rubbing.

    So instead of starting another redundant thread, I'll just hop on here, so the 265/75R16 is the biggest I could go on the stock steel rim with a 1.75 lift in the front and a 1" block in back? Without any issues? Thanks in advance for confirming!

    That is correct. Though I would reconsider using a block to lift the rear. :)

    What would you suggest? An AAL? If so I'd be just lifting it even to stock and it will still have that rake, don't want to go to 3" in the front and have to do all the other stuff to make it right, plus I'm not planning on putting any thing bigger than 265/75R16 right now. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

    rob....definitely go with an aal over a block man!!! the ride will be better(stiff at forst a little, but that will go away), and its safewr, plus you wont experience any axle wrap with the aal!!! just a heads up man!:)
