Didn't catch anything, had fun nonetheless.

 

The other day my wife was behind me in the runner and I noticed something wonky with the skid plate on it (sitting crooked). Looked this morning and one of the metal alignment tabs was broken off the front. Took it in to a different dealer this time to get the oil changed and they came out and said that one of the tabs was broken and it was missing bolts along with 3 of them stripped out. Apparently the dealer she was taking it to was using a air rachet to pull the skid off for oil changes and stripped the fuck out of it.

We now have a new place to do stuff and the one that I bought my truck from. Advisors are a lot nicer and the dealership is also better.


Oh and she spotted this and looked at it. Says this is what she wants now. I can't believe she's actually willing to get rid of her precious v8 for a new runner.

I like it. It's black with a blue metal flake in it. Sunroof too. Oh and are you sitting down? It's a 4x4. lol

Woman said she won't have anything but a 4x4. That's my girl.

 

She also looked at the TRD Pro and loved it in white.

 

So if she's going to leave it stock the Pro is a good choice although a TRD Off-road Premium would be almost exactly the same and easier on the bank account.

 

I honestly probably can't afford it as I don't even have a job right now but you never know. Got to stake out that carcass.

It's a private club, so it's not bad. They stick some big trout in it. Someone pulled a 30" rainbow out earlier this year.

Well, the original purchase price is higher but I meant if you go to modify it at all.

 

Oh yeah. I doubt she'd modify it. Even though it would be bad ass with a 3" lift and 33's. Also some sliders.

 

I just looked more closely and that looks like the Xp package. Which is generally an appearance package that mimics the TRD Pro that they try and break the price off in your ass for.

Mine is 3 inch lift($700)on 34's(used tires for $800) and sliders($600), skids($750) front bumper(used for $900). Cost breakdown isn't too bad until you realize how much more you could have done to a 4th gen for that.

 

It is a XP premium package with TRD Pro grill and wheels. Sunroof with leather interior. Almost be better off buying the Pro Imo and get all the fancy knobs. Did you know they put the damn 4wd shifter knob where the passenger cup holder is? They moved the cup holder back some. WTF?
