What do you keep in your truck bed storage compartments?

Just put these in mine, curious to see how others make use of them!

 

Same as you. 4 ratchet straps on the right and a wide assortment of bungie cords on the left.

 

I don't place anything in them longterm, I probaley would if it was water proof storage. I keep all my ratchet straps and such behind the rear seats.

 

Have some ratchet straps in one side, along with a d ring hitch receiver insert. Other side I have a bunch of those solid rubber bungees.

Anything metal in there I have coated in "tectyl", a wax rust proofing substance.

 

Cargo net in the small one on the right. Bungee cords in the bigger one on the left.

My rachet straps and tow strap are in the cab behind the rear seats. And a bunch of stuff in the under-the-seat compartments under the rear seats....gloves, portable 12V light, first aid kit, ice scraper, few basic tools, etc.

 

Wow, yours are neat. I just toss in straps and bungie cords all twisted together.

 

I jammed a shitload of ratchet straps in the small one by the outlet. In the big one is my fire suppression / mix tape storage:

 

You should turn Toyota on to that stuff .

I put ratchet straps in there, but I put them in a thick plastic bag cause that area gets wet and dirty

Utah Co, UT isn't exactly a crime center...I left my truck door open for 3 hours one time (I got distracted, OK...) and all my stuff was still there. Can't say the same for LA where I moved from...

 

I gotta remember this one...

 

Bungies and straps in one, looking to build a mount for a bottle jack in the other. I’d like to 86 the scissor jack kit under the rear seat for medical supplies.

Straps in the big one and towing stuff in the small one (7 to 4 plug adapter, couplenof hitch pins, plastic bags for greasy tow balls).

 

I don't put anything I need to keep clean and dry in those boxes. Just d-rings and hitch receivers here.

 

Rope and recovery hooks, tug strap.

 

Mine mostly have dust in them.
