What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

New Icon UCAs uinballs installed last night with a little nescessary body work to get that stupid thru bolt out away from the fender but job complete no casualties go in on Monday for a alignment

 

Ew-la-la! What lights did you use for that? Im digging the low-profile and evenly distributed light. Trying to avoid using pods in the bed..

 

eBay! turned out great had a little extra at the end so I cut and attached it up above on the camper shell. It has sticky tape on it but I beefed it up with my red 3m tape every 6”

I hate those damn bolts!
I got all wise and ordered new ones for mine so I could just cut the old ones out, but my lift parts showed up on a Thursday, and the bolts were scheduled to arrive the following Monday.

 

I have wanted to do this since I had my last Tacoma.
Now that I've got the DCLB with the tri-fold, I really want lighting.
The previous owner of mine had an 18" (or so) strip of battery-powered LEDs on the driver's side, but I like your solution better.

Out of curiosity, where, and what sort of switch did you use for these?
I've toyed around with ideas of pressure switches, normally open loop on a closed tailgate, but I'm thinking a manual switch would be better.

Just used a decent Napa toggle switch ran wire to constant 12v then grounded inside the tail light area, drilled a hole thru the side compartment box for my switch so it don’t get broke.

 

Took advantage of a sunny, 74* MInnesota fall day to wash, Nanoskin Autoscrub, seal and Armorall my truck.....now to detail the inside.....before the weather turns.

 

Plug and play? Did you get an amp as well?

 

Alright guys got some news on "Tacomaholic" patches. I got an estimate for the standard Tacomaholic logo without any of the truck silhouettes. Size is 5" long by 0.54" wide with velcro (hook and loop) backing so they should stick to your roof lining just fine. Pricing would be $12 shipped, payment through paypal. Let me know if you are interested and if enough people are down I'll get an order in. Sample below and the patch would appear as everything but the grey surround seen here:
