    I used a standard 15mini(middle pic). If the stock "low profile"(far right in pic) doesn't fit... you can get the mini's at any autoparts store. If not, I can mail you a few.

    Yea that add-a-tap plugs in perfectly to the fuse box but since that "low profile" fuse isn't long enough to plug into the slot next to the 5a on the add-a-tap I'll need to go buy a standard mini 15a for that correct?

    Edited: you beat me to posting lol that answers my question. Thanks guys!!! Thank you for the offer but worries, I'll just head over to vato-zone and pick a few up.

    Yes. This was a small oversight on my part.. so if you want I'll Paypal whoever got the ECT kits a few bucks back to cover the cost of a fuse(couple bucks at autoparts store) but always good to have all types of spare fuses;)
    This will be revised in release #2

    My mistake. I mangled the original low profile fuse while removing and grabbed a spare mini fuse I had not realizing it wasn't the same type.

    And they're hard to remove without mangling. There's probably a special tool.

    Would you recommend a product like this to "tap" the cigarette power lead? What gauge are the wires that I'd be tapping?

    I was going to include the optional "t-tap" but thought that might confuse a lot of people. I specifically installed a male connector coming off the ECT so all you would have to do is use this style tap and it will plug right in;

    What gauge is the cig lighter and the module power leads? I have a couple blue (16-18 gauge) positaps leftover from my pop n lock install.

    dumb question, where is the fuse box? i took off the kick panel on drivers side, no fuse box. checked book guess it is the white plastic cover upper right drivers side. does not seem to want to come off? think i will tap of the lighter do not understand all this fuse talk fit or no fit.
    think i understand now how do i get the cover off the fuse box if in fact it is the white box i described above. would rather do the fuse route than monkey with the lighter wire.

    Just use needle nose pliers if u have them to pull the fuse out. I used a small flathead screwdriver to push the small tab to pull the fuse box cover off.

    Check the fuse box in the engine compartment.
