That looks like a miniature version of those restaurant vents on roof tops. I like it better than the hook.

So, an update to my previous "What I broke at Ardbeg" list

    I now have:

    - A completely broken drivers side wheel bearing (which lets out a cringe worthy grinding noise every few seconds)
    - A leaking cv oil seal
    - A broken needle bearing (tons of play in cv axle)
    - A lot less money

I got this and new leafs, oil pan $92, rustproof oil all over the truck and patched/painted the skids.

Ready for more adventures to come!
    Bring it on:mudding:

And my next place will definitely have a lift, it’s so much easier to work on the truck instead of crawling under it.
And no neighbours within 1Km of radius:infantry:

check out Jersey built hubs, that's where I got mine from it's cheaper than buying the pieces and getting them pressed and it's a direct swap. I think it comes up to about $220 with the dust seal. If you need I can give you an address to ship to in the states. I can pick up from Detroit.

I actually got lucky, Peter bought a set of Jersey's a while back and is spotting me one of the sets to fix mine. I just made an order tonight so ill have my own set in a week or two.

Only thing is theres no point in putting the hub on if my needle bearing is still shot and my seal is still leaking. Driving the truck like that is just gonna cause more damage.

So now I gotta wait for this new cv bushing to come in, which will take a week atleast, and I gotta go pick up a new oil seal from the dealer. No idea how im gonna get to work this week

I think he is doing some equivalent from here. I have two complete hub assemblies I’m setting him up with for the weekend so he can get his junk fixed lol

Just one, theres no play in the wheel bearing on my passenger side (thank god). Im sure ill need one not too far in the future but ill have my own set of hubs by then. I just ordered two so I had a backup if the passenger side blows out. Was so not prepared for this, I was supposed to work both days this weekend and now it looks like I wont be working till late next week

Trying to do this in a way that makes the most sense financially. Im either gonna suck it up and take transit to this jobsite we're on (Which is 2 hours one-way) or rent a car for a few days. We'll see how it turns out lol. Whatever way it goes its gonna be cheaper than just not working at all and missing out on multiple days pay

A hole cv is $125 from partsource. Are you getting the ecgs bushing? Honestly... I would work out a deal on a rental for a week.

Those are my street shoes! They are very comfy on the highway (MPG) and I can be a "racecar" wearing them:burnrubber:

Damn I should’ve jumped on that with you and saved a little with shipping. If anyone else is ordering the ecgs let me know. I don’t need it for a bit but still.
    Thanks
