I've been wanting to do this but can't figure out what kind of cheap dash cam would work with it. Can you provide any info or links?

Just get one that says it fits go pro mounts, oh and all knarly vids require TW posting, it's in the terms and conditions of your tacos paperwork, really really fine print.

LUCKY!!! It'd be awesome if they all came with that. As like, a standard feature.

I bet if they did put it in there standard they'd put it about the 9th or 10th page in the 2017 brochure next to the QI-compatible wireless charging and the integrated backup camera showcase.

That particular camera comes with an adapter and a long enough cord to power it from the center console. Start at console and fish wire up through the tunnel, up and over behind the glove box, up the A pillar, above the headliner over to the GoBro mount and drop out to the camera. Do NOT go from GoBro mount the other way. The hole in the center console is too small for the USB / charger end. I found out the hard way.
