Needle bearing being shit shouldn't cause damage. Just an annoying vibration that goes away while in 4x4. So you could technically put a new seal in and drive it until you get the new ECGS bushing.

Whats the part number for the seal you need. I wonder if its the one I have on hand.

vibration from lift. Shitty play in the front diff that causes the CV to vibrate.
    Amplified with lift.

if you feel an annoying vibration that goes away with 4x4 you need it.

Its a $60 part. I did it when I did the lift so I don't need to waste time later.

I never had vibes but I just did it as a preventative measure when I put my lift in. Heard enough stories about vibes when lifting. Plus it was pretty easy to put in and only added about an hour to my install time.

I don’t have any vibes either but I think the busing is stronger than stock and allows for tighter tolerances creating less wear. So it isn’t a matter of if you’ll get vibes but when apparently. I’m getting it as I’ll have the front diff it anyways so might as well lol.

I haven’t had it for like 4 years. Wouldn’t be installing it but because of the regear I might as well.

So I do the lift and get a vibe, I will just want to dick punch myself so hard.

I am pretty sure I should just do it, so I dont regret NOT doing it. if it was $500 I would be a little more 'uh im not sure'.

I think its better to be safe.

    its $60USD.

If you need it you'll have a vibration that goes away with 4x4 being on.
Like Jake said its easy to do so that you don't need to worry about it.
But its also an easy job so if you don't do it and end up with the vibe you can do it later.

I've just heard stories of guys having the vibe without lift and that the bushing was the fix. Some said they even had dealers do it as a warranty job.

From what I understand its worse if you have a 3"+ lift.
And its mostly if you have high CV angles from what I've read
