It sounds like Toyota is adding something like pop & lock power tailgate lock to work with the key fob

Will the truck automatically brake on radar cruise control like my wife’s 2017 RAV4? It’s a pretty neat feature. Plus the steering wheel nudges you back in the lane when you go over the lane markers. Kinda neat. I know the new Tundra doesn’t do the steering wheel nudge.

571E0798-FB58-4291-A871-5A7E330F8577.jpg 2018 owners manual is up:

    https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM04017U/pdf/OM04017U.pdf

Here is the direct link to the audio/ nav manual:

    https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omnav-s/OM04019U/pdf/OM04019U.pdf

Was able to get creative with the owners site and changed the URL from 2017 to 2018 and they magically appeared.

Edit: looks like someone tattled, site is now redirecting to 2017 model. Oh well, at least the direct links are still working.

Page 634 shows standard 7443 bulbs for tail lights, so no LED tail lights for 2018.

Interested in seeing how much leather and JBL in the premium packages adds to the price!

Rear window button is near the ECT button now, under the thermostat controls

If this is the 2018 manual, I didn’t see a model year designation in the manual, it states the tailgate can be locked/unlocked by a key. So no change, manual locking only. What a pain. It would be so much nicer to have the tailgate lock operated by power locks.

Also confirmation, if anyone really needed it, that the rear window is left/right, not up/down.

I would much rather this location for my window switch than where it is on the '17's

I would rather have it next to the sunroof controls. You have to go to the doors to open the windows. The roof for the sunroof then reach down to open the rear window.

No 2018 vehicle has Entune 3.0 except for the Camry (exclusive). I would have been very surprised if it was in the 2018 Tacoma. The 2019 Tacoma will definitely have it.
