What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Ya be careful doing that I had one back out on me

 

Started planning a dog platform and bed setup for the back.

 

Did some baseline pulls

Then started the fun work. Called it a night after getting to this point.

Hopefully the rest goes pretty smoothly. Had to pull the radiator to get my impact on the crank pulley bolt and I dropped one of the blower manifold bolts but apart from that it's gone pretty well.

 

Basline numbers??

 

Relocated my camp light above the tailgate. Took the pack rack off, sold it on craigslist (I hope).

 

Any info on this mod??

 

223/251 peak over 3 runs. Going back next Tuesday to do 3 more with the blower.

Please tell me what you do to keep yours like this. Just got stationed up north and my truck looks like that and want to keep it that way while im up here!

I followed the write up that nazlax10 linked https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-raptor-style-lights.293647/ but wired them differently so they flash with lock/unlock and turn signal. That wiring is mentioned in the thread but just ask if you want to know more

Hit 45k on the way home from the mall, so the little man could get his haircut.

 

It's been awhile but figured id post an updated pic of my truck. She just came back from a round trip from TX-NC-TX. Ive been busy with life, work, and college. She's a little dirty and has some new pin stripes from off roading. She handled the 20 hr straight long haul perfectly, very proud of her and that 4.0 engine. She got us up there, did some trails that required 4lo, some house work, and still brought us home to TX towing more than she went up with. I love this truck to death, and it's been the best vehicle decision by far. Shes a 2015 with 36K miles now. Please no negative comments about our strapping, it worked, and had zero issues. But hows everyone else doing?
