I always get my Mobile 1 at Walmart. It's always been cheaper even when its not on sale. The 5 quart jug is the ticket.

Just be careful, because some of the jugs are 4 quarts. Another way they're sneaking in profits.

Walmart was cheaper than that here. Also, bought the filter from the dealership for $4

Thanks! I'll be buying the next time I stop by and stocking it for my next oil change. $30 for all that is a good deal IMO. The Mobil 1 filter is $13 on its own, so $17 for 5 quarts of Mobil 1 is a steal.

I was just making sure, because I was thinking why go for the Wal-Mart deal if you can get both the oil filter and the oil at once for under $29.99 + tax.


FYI the guy who rung me up said I couldn't get the 5 quart jug. The sale is only for 5 - 1 quarts. This was at Advance Auto Parts, not Wal-Mart.

 

Change the filter every time you change the oil!
