Did you have the diff fluid at the right temperature? The fluid expands as it heats up. If you filled it to the fill hole while cold you over filled the diff fluid. There is a specific procedure for determining correct fluid temperature to correctly fill diff.

Just got the 4Runner TRD Pro's installed with Yoko Geolandar's(265/70/17). Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The Geolandar's ride just as quiet as the stock Toyo's but have a much better look which is what I was going after. Just very slight rubbing on the OEM mud guards at almost full lock and when pulling into the driveway over the curb, but that's the only time we've noticed it. Appreciate all the advice on here on the tire/wheel setup. Between the tires/wheels/lightbar/grill we're probably done with mods for awhile but will eventually get the Katzkin leather installed. This beast is actually for my son who just turned 16 and I'm close to swapping my 11" Tundra with him and driving the Taco myself! :bananadance:

    Beautiful truck and setup!!

I wish I was able to drive a brand new bad ass hooked up Taco when I was 16.... instead I worked my ass off to buy an old ford escort many moons ago as my first car. Lol. Oh the memories :)

I hear ya! He's benefiting from Dad living out the dreams he had when he was 16. I turned 16 in 91' and wanted this red 86 Tacoma that was being sold in town soooo bad! Couldn't come up with the $7,500 to buy it and it's haunted me ever since. I'm just poising myself for the first wreck! If he's anything like I was at 16 it will happen.

I went to Wally World and bought 2 kryptonite U Locks to secure my new bed extender. I could prob have gotten away with just one but at a very reasonable $18 a pop I figured might as well double up and I can always use one to secure my bike when driving to the trials or post trail chow/ beer stop.

One more question, how does your truck ride with BFG A/T’s? Has your MpG changed? I’m around 20 w/the original TRD sport tires. I almost want something loud to take my attention off my exhaust!

I am a fan of Katzkins but I chose the Clazzio for cost and the luxury of removing them if I want the original seat skins back. I must say these Katzkins have more wrinkles than my 80 year old parents. Is this normal on new installs. My Clazzios never had such wrinkles and still look great after 21 months of daily use.

Just stuck them on. Then kinda just grinded them into the liner. They stick good.

Bachelor, Falken AT3W, Wheelers Super Bumps, Clazzio Covers, Hardwired Escort Radar, Husky Mats, Morimoto HID's, Baja Designs Yellow Fogs, Caliraised Bumper LED Bar, Interior LED's, Second Skin Deadening, Focal Speakers, PRO Grille, and much more...
Installed the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo with the Dakar medium leaf pack. Coilovers were set at the 5/4 height and install took around 10 hours while having no prior suspension experience. I used lowrangeoffroad's video for reference, and before you ask I do not have before and after measurements but guessing I gained around two inches with an inch rake in the rear. Don't have a lot of experience with the new suspension but it handles bigger bumps better, while also corning better. Snugtop rebel with windoors set to arrive next week! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOW-FRDl5wg.
