Same I had Katz in my VW years ago and they were great BUT when looking through the forums and seeing everyone praising Clazzio, the price was a bargain compared to the Katz...
Friends say the clazzios look OE and I couldn’t be happier with the fit and easy install.

I've been patient for a year + and my MDKM (Momma Don't Know Money) finally added up, so I went shopping. For anyone in the Jacksonville, FL area, I can't recommend "Overbuilt Customs" enough. They're well known in the Jeep world and the owner (Brad) spent a lot of time with me going over options.

He ended up installing; a Pro Comp 6" suspension lift (K5089BMX), XD128 Wheels and Mickey Thompson 305/70/18 tires (just a tad over 35") this week. The only downside, I'm now in the market for AMP power steps... I'm six foot plus and have to climb in, my poor wife is 4' 9" and literally needs a step stool.

I know this type of setup is not for every Tacoma owner, but I'm extremely happy with the results. It still drives and handles about the same with withminimal road noise from the tires. It's too early to tell what type of MPG it'll get, but I have other vehicles that get 30MPG plus for long trips.

Swapped out the chrome trimmed fog lights for black and installed LEDs. Was any easy swap until I lost the damn screw on the drivers side fog light. Spent an hour searching for it, took apart the grill and bumper to get better access, never found it. Finally had to go to the store to get another one. New LEDs are soooo much brighter! Will be doing the headlights ASAP now.

Actually not that bad at all. Certain shittier pavement might give me a slight buzzing sound . I really don't notice much, but I'm also not super particular about that sort of thing.

Mpg have always been around 20 for me...between 17 and 21 probably. Quite a few hills here.

FYI anyone running a K&N, the struts will contact the intake shroud, so it has to be notched/trimmed.

Factory caliper. I feel it has enough bite just the factory pad/rotor wasn’t up to the task.

If this doesn’t work then onto something bigger

Drivers side coilover developed a leak so having them rebuilt. Also installed the ECGS bushing while I had the coilovers out.

So it was kind of tough decision. SDHQ was the plan since their the only certified icon service techs around Phoenix area. They didnt have any shock service availability until November 1st and I work 48 hr shifts which lined up with the first and week after that so realisicly couldn't get it done till mid November. Long story long lol I found "race shocks service" in Phoenix that agreed to do it this weekend. I was a little nervous but he had the seals in stock and score class 1 car in his driveway so felt a little better.
Gotta get the most out the cooler weather in phoenix and hit the trails while it's not miserable!!!
