I'm fine even if she's born with two vaginas (and it's/they're not all weird looking etc). Just as long as "she's born with it, I don't want no maybe it's she". No questions like maybe she's born with it~ kinda like "Maybelline".

Hmm. I read it more as they got lost and gave up :notsure:. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41702369

Comes across as a mercy thing, not that he went out with bad intentions. There is some interesting research on the topic, but basically some people are more prone to giving up when things start going against them. Laurence Gonzales' book "Deep Survival" is a good intro to the topic.

I want to know what the AirBnB person knows and why they called the sheriff in the first place. Did they leave a note? Did they just not return for the night?

My understanding is that they never checked out of the AirBnB and left stuff behind. No word on notes or anything. There's more discussion and links to earlier news articles in this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...g-couple-in-joshua-tree.504143/#post-15746932

Look up the experiment of Curt Richter and the drowning rats.

TLDR: He placed rats in a jar of water and when the rats realized they couldn't escape they gave up and drowned.

He did the same to a second group but scooped them out just as they were about to drown, let them recover, then placed them back in the jar. As long as the rats had hope they might get rescued again they kept swimming.

I think this was very well put... and from one of my favorite movies.

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mDYCLFE86Po

I really dig survival, loved those schools most. I even keep my FM in a sealed plastic bag in the Taco next to a foil/vac packed aircrew survival kit and my VS17 panel.

Airbnb dude doesn't get his checkout, goes to house to find all their shit still lying around. The kind of stuff one doesn't leave behind. Calls police.

Story I saw on the news channel 4 NBC here on LA said it was a mercy killing. They got lost and ran out of water/food. The guy bought the gun to protect her from a stalker a few weeks before.
There are many stories going around about this unfortunately no one will ever really know.

I've always hated that guy. When he stars in a movie where he get turned into a bullet sponge maybe I can get interested.
