Interested how they’ll compare to duratracs. Can’t be louder, that’s for sure.

Got mine mounted today. Anybody else get damage like this? I have scratches on each wheel. America's tire said the scratches are from the balance machine and was unavoidable. I'm not happy. Manager said he'd do whatever it takes to make it right. He said he'd buy me new wheels but can't promise that the scratches won't happen again. Idk what to do.

    Workin' on it....
I view my F5's as a tool rim -- pretty but expected to see some abuse. Granted I'd rather it be trail scuffs that I put there and not the balancer but maybe you can get some free tires or something and just run the rims as is.

Is it on all 4 or 5?

Based on your suspension, you're looking for quality over quantity. I'd either ask for replacement rims or a new set of tires and use these as an off road set. Granted, that's a lot of switching back and forth (depending on your wheeling).

If it's all 4/5, it could be a poorly maintained machine. If it's one wheel, it's obviously a careless mistake. In either case, there is NO reason why a balance machine would scratch the wheels if operated properly.

All four wheels have scratches from the balance machine. The manager recommended "getting center caps to cover the scratches." Smh. He did say he would make it right though. I'm either going to have them order me a new set of wheels, or see if they will cover some of the cost of my new falken mt's.

I came out of the ship with ZERO scratches

    Definitely would be pissed also

On the bright side, you cant see them unless you are real close.

Those tires look meaty as fuck

Do you mind posting a shot looking down your truck from the front? I have a SR as well and I'm curious as to how far the 3.5 backspace sticks out. TIA!

So I'm looking to run 285\75\16 Falken Wildpeak AT3... Which backspacing\offset combo should I get with the least amount of rubbing... 16x8 with 3.5BS \ -25offset or 16x8 with 4.5BS and no offset?

These will not poke out as much as the 3.5bs and cause less rubbing.

    Whats your suspension setup?

I have a 3\1 leveling kit. My front went up a full 3 and my back when up just short of 2.

Nice! You should be good to go with either of those wheel choices.

If you like the wheel/tire to be further out and dont mind some trimming, go 3.5bs!

Although, both options may or may not (probably will) require the cab mount chop

its no big deal at all to be honest.

I'm confused so if the wheel sticks out more with the 3.5BS why would it also rub more? I guess it would hit the outside of the fender? Or is my brain just logic impaired right now?

    Its all about scrub radius

    3.5 is 'less' backspace

    pushing the wheel/tire out more

    making the contact points closer

Man, Im terrible at explaining and terminology

    Really sorry about that

You got it! Really interested in what decision you end up making.

Have a color choice in mind?
