Go on eBay and shop around for your AR 500 steel, you can get some pretty damn good bargains

 

Gong target is at 400yds. coyotes I'll shoot them at 300 or less

 

zip guns are throw away guns used for murders, one time use etc.

 

Well guys, finally got my Concealed Pistol License class done today. Been putting it off for far to long.

 

Ours is an 8 hour class with a little range time. Hardest part was sitting there for that length of time.

 

Ours can be up to 45 day wait after you turn in your app. and get printed, but it sounds like its usually quicker.

 

Ours here and Ohio depending on what county you go to was like a 24 hour wait. We got fingerprinted and photographed on Monday and got our license on Tuesday

 

You're lucky. Charlotte nc takes up to 120 days. I'm on day 44. It feels like an eternity.

 

Hardest part for me was also sitting for so long, my butt was sore for the next few days. Shooting was the easiest and funniest. I had the smallest groups out of the class.

 

Part of the class they brought out a ton of different pistols. It was cool to see and handle them, but it would have been way cooler to shoot them.

There's not even a class in South Dakota. I paid $10 and came back a couple days later to pick it up.

 

That's what it's like here in California..... Except the exact opposite

 

I honestly dont understand how that state gets away with violating our constitution.

 

Ours is pretty easy here. Constitutional carry, basically Don’t be on probation. There is a CCL available though if you want it to be honored with other states, think that one might be a class though.

 

Gonna be building a 300 BLK "pistol" as my next AR, my optimus should be approved in december and i can run it on a 8" barrel with a 3 lug mount, the length would be shorter than a 16" barrel by a decent amount, 8" barrel + 6.6" suppressor= just under 15".

Are there barrels at 7-7.5" for 300 BLK? I kind of want an even more compact length.

 

so, for the TW hive mind, is there a preferred place to get upper parts? mainly looking at all the misc parts, as id like to by the BCG and barrel from one place so i can have them headspaced before they get to me.

 

Been instested in building one myself. Also want a good bolt action 308 that accepts mags. Shit, I just want one of everything. Thats reasonable right?
