Just got home. Was awesome to see the ones I already knew and meet the new people. Thanks MJ for hosting and glad to finally meet you and the others.

 

Just got home super chill day awesome as usual super impressive leafsping swaps

So Huston did in fact fracture his thumb, but we're home and he's doin good. Nothing to do about it but wait and heal...

Wow good times everyone. Such a huge turn out - at one point we had 46 trucks! I think this mod day had the most people wrenching at the same time, especially during the leaf pack circle jerk. Thank you to everyone for bringing food and drinks, and most importantly, good vibes.

Sorry @Rmoreno1 we didn't use the welder you brought.

Thanks to @Silver02Taco for taking care of the grill, @jAndyMendo for initiating the leaf pack charity, and @siznarf for walking my pup. There are a lot of people that helped me out during the day - I super appreciate it.

Whoever went to Home Depot to buy me primer, I owe you $.

@BudMan - I have your jack stands. Let me know when you're coming to Newark again. @SCRunner12 - I have your sledge. Let me know when you want it back.

And I'm happy to say that we generated $200 in the tip jar to give to @IronPeak via @Cuffs (although half of that was donated from Jandy ).

I'm really bad with names so I apologise if I forgot any of those I had already met. Good times though. Any spring hanger replacements should be done in the morning next time. Lol. GoFundMe for a group plasma at MJs? Anyhow, time for Walking Dead.

 

Couple things I learned about my truck from this mod day. My cvs are annoyingly in the way of my shock bolt, my cvs inner boots are completely done (falling off), my upper ball joints are completely done and mj’s impact tightens lug nuts crazy tight. Trying to get some threads on my kings so I don’t keep scraping each turn and having my wife ask what was that....getting hard to change the subject quickly each time.

Although now I have a banging noise over bumps in the road.

And to top it off, just looked at the springs that came with the kings and they are 650...really wish I had paid attention and used those again. So....round two MJ? Hahaha
