So as long as the tire doesn't come off the rim, should be good to go? The set I'm getting is a direct take off, so TPMS should be attached still. Should I expect an issues with TPMS on the 17' fitting on 13' Taco? Was reading and some said they had to switch sensors or flip them upside down? Thanks again for the replies

For the balance, I agree-- should be good to go. I don't think 3rd Gen TPMS sensors are compatible with 2nd Gen, though. ANyone else want to chime in?

My 3rd gen wheels didn't come with the tpms so I just had mine swapped over from my old stock set of wheels w/ no issues. If you're looking to use 3rd gen tmps, I believe somewhere in this thread mentions having them reset, should be simple to do.

Thanks for the info! So turns out new 17' rwheels didn't come with TPMS so just had tire shop swap my 13's into the new wheels. Cost was 18$ per tire at Big O Tires Mount Balance and TPMS swap. Total 82$ out the door! Love it!!

Agreed, Off Roads are 16" Sport is 17". Just to add: I used my old lug nuts off the original rims no problem, it's a 2013 Sport.

got my Father in laws 2011 DCLB with the steelies which i heard have different TPMS sensors on them. tires are getting bald so thinking of pickin up a set of 3rd gen Offroad or Sport wheels for it. Anyone know if a place like Americas Tire can delete the old sensors and reprogram the new wheels sensors? Or do i have to get them done at the dealer.

Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
My second gen had aluminum wheels so I just transferred them over. Steel wheel sensors are a different design and probably won't fit the new wheels. Tire shops have sensors that will probably work, or you can get new second gen aluminum wheel sensors from your dealer.

@redcon Can you feel a difference with the aluminum wheels when it comes to acceleration and such?

I meant to weigh a stock steel wheel with an A/T tire mounted and compare to these, but the Steelies with tires sold so fast on Craigslist I never got a chance. Just handling them in/out of the bed I'd say the 3G alloy is a few pounds lighter maybe, so acceleration SEEMS a bit peppier. But the ride is so much smoother I could have handled slightly worse acceleration, LOL
