I know that....I also know you'd still catch hell if you didn't show up. You'd end up with a PERMENENT pink helmet.

I'll make it to Harlan. No worries.

However, no locker might get me stuck when I try something new.

I've learned (YEARS ago) to NEVER say never, but Harlan doesn't get you stuck too often....You either make it up an obstacle, or you don't. Rocks are thatta way.

Today's agenda: change oil, talk some shit, swap tires, check bolts (y'all should too, seen too many people wheeling with us loose control arms and the like).

Looking at a "post Harlan" run to one of several places....Either Nov 10/11 or Nov 17/18 (Both Friday/Saturday) Nothing too heavy, just a small overnighter. (Gonna get paroled for a weekend, no wifey) Thinking RRG or maybe a return to Rush. Possible trip to Dirt Devil (near Nashville Tenn) Leaning towards RRG.

    Possible Wed/Thurs or Thurs/Fri trip instead (@tacabode) Will depend on work schedule/vacation allowed. (8th/9th or 9th/10th, 15/16 or 16/17)

Anyone interested, let me know. Not planning on huge group...Just a few that can travel light. Trying to squeeze one last meet in before winter gets here.

I can probably muster a Friday off....Will depend on which one is available for me to be gone. I'd also like to put together something mid week so Mike can plan something....since he doesn't get weekends off any more. (I know how that works...)

I'll look at schedules on Tuesday to see what days will work for me. I'll post as soon as I know. It's a long way until spring/summer. It would be nice to get an overnighter in before snow starts flying. It'll be mid summer at the soonest before I can depend on anything next year. We start ramping up here around mid march and it doesn't calm down until swim season is over. City Swim meet here next year. That's in July. 2 weeks set up, a week for the meet, then a week to clean up. Probably throws a weenie in any plans for RRG summer meet. LBL is simply out of the question....after 2 failed attempts to go.

I’m with you.... I don’t know what packing ahead is. I think all of my packing for Moab was done the day before we left.

Beauty of a tow rig is that I no longer have to play Tetris making everything fit in the Tacoma so it goes a ton faster

Planning on heading out late Tuesday to get part of the way up so I don’t have a long ass drive Wednesday. Busy day tomorrow and Tuesday morning...so I’ve procrastinated as long as possible. That other 20% I’m going to end up pushing right up to the line.

Tools, etc, staged in the garage. (What doesn't live in the truck) Coolers are in the garage with post-it notes on them (what goes in 'em) Ice machine is a block from the house. Everything that goes in the coolers is already here, in garage fridge.... Dry goods boxed and on kichen table. My go bag is not yet packed, but I know what goes in it. Wife and grandson are responsible for there stuff. Quilts are packed in plastic bags.

Gas the truck thursday night, put all that stuff in the truck, then roll out before daybreak Friday.

    Beer is already cold!
