just visors and bug shield...."for now".
    Greetings ALL!!!

i have been getting much useful info from this site for a while so i finally got off of my bum and became a member today! i bought a new *08' reg cab 4x4* in feb. i love the truck and have no regret at all, it reminds me of the fun i had in the old yota trucks (big smile).

if you have a moment or if anyone cares here is the backround story.... i have owned or operated several toyota's since i have been driving. two 85 4x4 pickups (brother flipped one, dad sold the other, both engines and one of the trucks "the not-flipped one" still go strong!!) and i still have my first car, a 1984 4-runner w/ straight front axle. i love the good ol' 22-RE.

i turned the 4-runner into a "mountain buggy" so i dare not commute with it. which is the reason i got the 08 tacoma. before this current truck i bought a new 06 frontier "in 06 of course" and it was a great truck! i liked the size and power...but it was not as fun to drive :( so nearly 2 years go by until my nissan is hit by a much larger and heavier SUV. the truck was destroyed with me in it. luckily i was not destroyed with it because the seat belt and air bag saved me dearly!

after i recovered from that mess, i went out to the truck market...again but this time it was on the toyota lot... :)

presto i drive home with a "Indigo ink base 4x4 reg cab". yes the accident was horrible but i truely believe it had a purpose...
i think i was destined to be a Toyota-for-life-er! lol.
thanks for reading if you did read this far
and i look forward to sharing the forums with everyone!

No shit!! my girlfriend's sister smashed her new 08 altima against the rear of an 03 expedition, she destroyed almost all the front, radiator, battery, all plastics, bumper, hood, lights, etc etc.... then both airbags went off, driver and passenger, which IMO is strange since she was driving alone....
