Tundra's Power Full Rear Window Slider is fuck*&^ SWEET.

Add that with a Sunroof...roll down all the windows and it feels like you're in a convertable.

Don't supose it can be done...modded... on a Taco? Hell I'd even take some kind of Manual version.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
It can be done for sure. You just need to remove the spring clip that holds it shut and add a short linear actuator and wire it up to a toggle switch in one of the blanks on your dash. It would cost about $200 plus time to install it. Might take half a day to do, if you are comfortable taking out some of the trim in your truck and putting it back.

He means the full window rolling down. You can manuallly slide the center window as it is now.

Didn't we have a thread on this not to long ago with a company listed that could install a power window on a TACO? As far as sliding or having it go up or down I couldn't really say!

I have looked into this at The Custom Shop here in las vegas. the lead fabricator told me it can be done...but it will cost me some $$$$...i was quoted at $1500...and that's just an estimate...

I plan on getting this done after I finish all my performance mods...

Dude, I'm not talking about making the current slider a power..

The Tundra's has a FULL rear window that opens....the ENTIRE Window....my Titan Crew had an Extra Large Power Slider but the Tundra has that beat....Very Cool.

Me Want it for my dogs and all that Airflow!

ithought this was a cool thing to, until i sat in one on the road, gets pretty windy and can be very loud in the vechile, My dealer took me out in the tundra to show me how it is. Go test drive a tundra, see if you like it, might be better in the hotter areas

I would like it but won't spend the money to have it done after market. Although it was one of my favorite features of my old 4runner, I miss that and my sun roof. It was great for a trip to the beach on a hot summer day.

I've driven in a Tundra w/this....Fuck*&^% love it!

If it gets too windy or noisy you just roll it up a little...the window doesn't have to be fully open....it rolls up...you can stop it wherever you want.

I had one in my 04 Tundra DC (the first crew cab) & it was very nice. I would have to, at times, crack the rear side windows not to get those crazy wind vibes that make you think you are in a chopper.
The manual slider in my tacoma never gets used...to far out of reach. A full power slider, yeah that would be awesome!
