Trying to get an idea how the truck will look on stock OR tires with a ~3/2 lift. Thanks!

There are many many threads on this topic. Hopefully you are not gonna put a shitty spacer lift on a beautiful new $30,000 plus truck. Buy once and cry once is what we all say. Do yourself a favor and talk to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and reconsider your lift options before wasting money.

I'm going with a complete lift kit + ECGS and professional install. No plans for tires yet so just curious how it will look on stock 265/70/16.

Having said that, any one got pics with ~3/2 lift and stock tires?

How much does a 3/2 lift alter the drivetrain angles? Did you guys drop the carrier bracket with your lifts? My kit comes with the OME carrier bracket drop. Wondering if it's absolutely necessary.

I say install the lift ride around if you don't get the vibes don't bother, if you do it takes 5 minutes to put in

Mine is a Readylift SST 3/2 spacer that cost me about $300. I swapped my rear shocks with some longer OME ones and have front struts on order. I paid $40k out the door for an OR and didn't want to waste the extra money I spent on upgraded suspension. It was the only manual I could find from mobile, Alabama to Jacksonville, Florida and I'm impatient to order one. Also, I don't give a heck about people's opinions about spacer lifts on Tacomaworld. I'm looking for tire clearance for occasional off-roading. In addition this is my daily driver and I have a '71 Buick and '29 Model A rat rod that takes up most of my time so budget is very limited. I never did any measurements before and after but I am happy with what I have. 20171022_155917.jpg 20171022_155933.jpg 20171022_155953.jpg 20170324_082542.jpg

I installed mine just to be safe. Literally takes 2 min. The only thing I forgot to order is extended brake lines for the rear. The down travel is too much for the stock brake lines if you plan on securing them with the OEM bracket. Mine are currently zip tied..... not good

Good to know for the dakars. I am installing extended rear brake lines.

Did you have to modify your bump stops in any way?

No the stock bump stops swap over just fine. I will eventually probably end up doing a U-bolt flip kit with Timbren bump stops.

Nice! I just ordered My Readylift sst 3/2 as well. I didn’t wanna get new suspension as well. It’s my daily driver and small kind off roading and mainly beaches. I was wondering, did the readylift 3/2 leveled out your truck? And what tire and wheel setup did you go with? Pictures would be nice too. Thank you!

It leveled it out nicely. Had stock OR wheels and tires but since have moved to Level 8's and 285's.
Cant find the stock wheels amd tires but it might be in this thread a few pages down. It looked too small with the 265's and to move up I needed more back spacing or the 285's would rub the UCA. I'm free and clear without spacer . 20190601_073237.jpg

Wow! Turned out great! Thinking of doing the 285/75/16 with my stock OR wheels and Spidertrax 1.25 spacers. Do you think it’ll rub anywhere?
