I have the opportunity to buy the main TRD SUPERCHARGER blower unit, doesn’t come with anything at all. Does MAGNUSON sell the fit kit or am I able to piece the rest of kit myself???

They do sell a fit kit. It's pretty expensive if I remember correctly. When considering a used blower, keep in mind it may need servicing. Between unverifiable blower condition and fit kit cost, it may not be a bad idea to just buy an entirely new kit. One man's opinion.

Someone else I was talking to, said they called Magnuson and was quoted around $2,000 for the fit kit alone.

    That’s insane!

I’ll call them tomorrow and hopefully it’s a reasonable price.

Let me know what they say. Another guy I was talking to bought a used kit and a bunch of the parts were missing. Made it not such a great deal when he had would have to tack on another $2k. Not sure if he went through with it or not.

I'm pretty sure the fit kit was only like $700
I remember seeing it in a thread not long ago, and it was under $1,000

personally, I would ask magnuson to service the SC, check the pulley and bearing as well as surfaces before going through the install, and finding out its defective.

Make sure the pully spins freely and all mating surfaces are smooth. It looks like all the screws have been removed from the blower implying it's been opened up, which makes me wonder why... Generally you wouldn't open a blower up unless there was a problem...

Just plan on doing a rebuild, that way you know everything is perfect starting off with zero miles and will go 100,000 plus miles, you might be buying a charger with 50,000 miles on it or 100,000 on it and you will NOT know if there are any issues until you install it and run it under boost. If you could listen to it running in the truck that would be different, I would wait, not a great deal without the other parts and not knowing condition,
Even if the outside looks clean you don't know what's going on inside.
Believe it or not I have 540,000 plus miles on my supercharger

I never priced the fit kit personally. Someone else was asking me about a used kit and said they were told $2k. If its $700 that's good for you. But as I and others have mentioned get it serviced. Lots of work involved for the install and it would suck ballz to figure out the blower is messed up when your ready to fire it up for the first time.

That's really not a bad price.
A new SC, without the (shitty) bully dog tuner is like $4300
