I think the amount is up for negotiation. Finding someone willing to trade their scooped hood is difficult enough, they dont want to limit the amount they are willing to pay extra in cash by posting a specific amount. Best if you are looking to trade your scooped hood is to list what you have, then what your willing to accept in cash. Reasonably, i have seen between $300-600.

So you are saying someone who has a non-scooped hood is paying $300-600 to a person that does have a scooped gods, and giving them their non scooped hood as well? How much is a scooped hood anyway?

Yup, crazy i know, but if you want the scoop bad enough, some people are willing to pay. You do find the rare unicorn that just wants to do a straight swap, but those are usually gone or spoken for within literally minutes of posting. I dont know the exact cost of new but you would have to buy the hood, all scoop hardware, then get it painted.

Personally, I think that there shouldn’t be a TRD Sport model and just a TRD Off-road model. The sport should be an appearance package for the Off Road. Wheels, scoop, black grille and body colored wheel arches. Those who don’t want that look could opt out.

If anyone on the west coast has a blue sport and would like to swap hoods let me know. My truck is less than 2 months old and I have the 3m factory film on the hood too. I also have the TRD OR shock set off my truck I will include as well!

Have: chipped and dented white flat hood.
Wanted: scoop hood, must be in perfect mint condition preferably brand new.

I think I have just as good of a chance as most on here right?

Edit: I know many may be tempted to swap me, but I am not actually looking for a hood swap.
