No, I just have a bad habit of looking way down the road. Actually it's good for saving money and building a career/doing only things that make long term sense. For example, I have no tattoos like many my age.

It can be. There's a lot of people in my area that focus on low price and quantity and not quality when it comes to ink. I'm just not into tattoos, but chicken scratch jailhouse looking tattoos NOPE

I think you missed the mark. Again. I do believe @mwc273 is saying that looking ahead is not a bad habit.

Using marathoners as the basis of data for having tattoos? Theres not that many people that actually run marathons... Statistics will be skewed. As someone who has run a marathon, I can say the data is off regarding having tattoos... So can my husband. Poor quality, poor design, poor ink, poor artist, yes, that all adds up to issues later. But those that have great ink take the time and invest in the artwork and artist.

Stupid? That in the beholder. Regrets? None. Have you ever spoken to a person on their death bed about regrets? They will clearly tell you quit giving so much of your life to work and money. Get the tattoo. Go on that vacation. Visit friends and family. While looking forward is essential for getting to a later place safely (and financially) sometimes its better to live in the moment.

The truth is she is probably acutely aware of said imperfections and has chosen for whatever reason to leave them alone. We all age and in the long term beauty fades and what's underneath shines through. If you're thinking this a long term deal, the beauty beneath the skin is far more important than any temporary beauty of the skin. Besides men marry women thinking they will never change and women marry men thinking they will change. In the end both are disappointed.

And, I thank my lucky stars that tattoos weren't a mainstream thing when I was younger. There ain't nothing from my youth that I'd still want on my body today. Some of the stuff people put on themselves makes me say WTF.

I kicked a tattoo artist out of my house once. I told him he was using the wrong type of needle for shading a huge area and he disagreed. Then half way through shading I got fed up with him because he kept going to deep.

Now I got a jacked up half finished tattoo with raised scars.

Ooh, I got it... tell her you'll only go out with her again if she gets a tattoo with a big arrow (and flames) that points at her wart and says "LOOK AT THUS FUCKER!"

    Yeah, that's no good!!

Luckily for me my old roommate was a tattoo artist by trade so he had quite a bit of time behind the needle. The way he set up our spare room, I swear he could have killed me and got away with. Think Dexter status.

My point was that she's likely VERY aware, and you bringing them up isn't going to achieve anything positive for either of you.

Smartest man I ever knew was my dad who passed away last spring. On his death bed he never mentioned regretting never getting a tattoo.
    Just sayin'...

as for the warts on the face, if it bothers you just walk away. You may have just lost the love of your life, but you will never know. Such is life.
