I'm not either. This is my first time. It felt weird to have it in 4wd and still not be able to catch any traction(while coming out)

    Like, so many.
Did the truck do more than you expected it to?

I wouldn't really say that it did something unexpected, but I'm used to being able to catch traction no matter where I am and I put it in 4wd. The fact that I couldn't was crazy. I guess my tires weren't meant for that(all terrain).. But while I was rambling in the pit, I had it in 2wd so I'd slide on purpose.

Snow wrecked our MTB plans so we took a little detour through the high Uinta mountains on our way home from the MTN house.

Found a nice little area to play and test out all the TRD OR features.

I regularly drive through San Francisco. Does that count? Have you seen the roads there lately?

Hot sprang season is in full tilt and I’ve been wanting to check these out for a while. Rough 11 mile trail down to the river but worth it.

I didn’t take a pic of the springs but this is a random one from the Googlez

I took the day off Friday and headed up to Crested Butte, Colorado. It snowed Friday night, so the wife and I got to snowbust up to Daisy Pass trailhead early Saturday morning. Road had 3 to 6" of snow on it with small drifts up to 18" - perfectly doable. By the afternoon the sun had turned the road into an absolute muddy mess, which was a ton of fun. A great way to spend our wedding anniversary!

Looking up valley towards the pass:

A short way up the hiking trail, looking back down at the truck. Can you spot my Taco?

Looking out from the headwall, about 200' below Daisy Pass. Unfortunately the snow was getting too loose to continue up higher. You can see the Maroon Bells barely peaking over the mountains in the distance.

I did last January. I scraped up my skids, that was about it. We went down Berdoo, as well. Not as bad, just tighter in some spots

I love that area. Let me know if you have any questions about it

On my SR5, nah. I traded it in shortly thereafter. Stepped up and got the trdOR. So there was no point. I do however have them for my new rig that i’m currently building now.

My spotter at the time didnt spot me so well.
