We sorta do....Snow turns everyone in Kentucky into complete idiots. I grew up in Indiana. It's a different world there.

Today and tomorrow @ work, then vacation starts! I get to rest up a couple days before Harlan. Gonna need it, 'cause, WE GONNA PARTY LIKE ROCK STARS.

This will be the first meet in a year since I got to stay for more than 1 day. Before that, you gotta go back to 1999. This is looooooooooooooooong overdue.

    #myjobsucks.

In 4 days...3 for some, 2 for others.!. But who's counting!

List is drivers/trucks. Listing riders would be out of control!

Just put you on driver list.

    Should help keep you awake...

    Sounds like dueling bedsprings...

I wanted to get my front coils swapped, but this is why I didn't do it now. No time to make corrective measures if there's a problem or if I break something.

When you talk about KY I feel like you classify those Northern, Kentuckians as a whole. Those are Indiana/Ohio folk compared to everyone East and South of Lexington.

When on the subject of driving in snow, the line of demarcation is the Ohio River...Crossing the bridge is a difference like night and day. Indiana has NORTHERN Indiana... The weather is nothing like down south....But...The state budgets money for road maintenance based on population. Therefore, Southern Indiana gets a huge amount of snow and ice removal equipment and manpower. You hit the state line and it becomes a fiasco.

And the further south I go, the worse the snow panic becomes. It's been a few years, but I got trapped in a traffic nightmare in Nashville one morning when they had all of 1/2" of snow. Go north...Back when me and my first wife were together, we drove from Bismark ND to Fargo ND on 2" of solid ice....never dropping below 55 mph the entire way. Cars and trucks were passing me.

I sure hope there's about 30 more who just haven't updated their status...Or we're gonna have an empty campground!

After years 1 and 2, I expected to get 10 to 15 in year 3. If no one else shows, we got what I expected....Still good!

I know of 5 more who are NOT on TW that will be there. Already loaded and ready to roll in most cases.

This is to "weekend trips" what Woodstock was to "Music festivals".

Got a lot up pent up excitement brewing here. Some of us don't get out much!
