First Ohio drivers can't drive at all even if there wasn't snow on the ground. They're not even sure really which side the fast lane and which ones are slow. Also, northern KY, Ohio border is a friggin train wreck for traffic period. I'd never even try to attempt driving in that train wreck in the snow. And you're also talking about cities. People definitely don't know how to drive their Prius' in the city.

I work in a city, but 90% plus of my 30k to 35k miles a year are in rural areas. I'm talking "broad strokes"....city AND rural. I used to drive in excess of 60K a year X 43 years with a license. Got a lot of "research time" in on this.

WORST driving I've ever encountered is Greater Nashville area. Worst drivers per state may be Ohio. Worst drivers in snow....Kentucky owns that. Poorest use of turn signals...Indiana. Most blatant disregard for speed limit....Kentucky.

MOST drivers these days drive as if they're the only vehicle on the road. That's EVERYWHERE.

I get the joy of dealing with WV drivers too. There are bad drivers everywhere, all the time.

When I traveled for work, the northern states (north and east of KY) were actually the worst at driving in snow/ice. Back home, they may go slow, but they aren't driving like a complete jackass and sliding through intersections and plowing into cars. A lot of my time away from home was spent in Indiana, in winter. Straight and flat cornfield roads don't qualify anyone as a good driver
