    RRG is state...

Harlan is county owned. They get the trail fee ($30 month/$50 for a year pass) camp grounds (Puntny or Evarts) charges camping fee that is seperate. Campgrounds are privately owned/operated.

After we get there friday, I will show anyone who is interested how to get from one campground to the other via trailsn. (Long way via highway)Evartscampground less developed....same fee. More privacy except when busy. Short ride on some pretty cool trails.

I'm fairly certain most people just check in and do one night fee..

"Zero facilties" includes showers, rest rooms, and the trail shop if you need it.

With RRG, etc, you pay for everything, just in the form of taxes. Harlan, you either pay at the gate, or county taxes if you live there.

Nothing is free. Some things do a better job of disguising the cost than others.

Also....look at license plates in Kentucky. Some of us run "friends of coal" black tags. Money raised from their sale goes to restoration of abandon coal mines. Such as Harlan. Look at my plate. I own .0000000000000000001 of an acre of Harlan!

I'll have my 10x10 EZ up with to assist in the shantytown building. I've got a 10x20 one for the racetrack but I don't think I have a way to get it from the race trailer before leaving.

Will have 10 x 10 EZ UP on board with me. It travels the trails too. Just in case we need shelter for trail lunch break.

I have paracord. I can peel off about 100' and give it to ya.

Also have 2 tarps, but the way the weather is looking, on will be under my tent and one on top of it. I'll pick up another for the cause!

make sure you actually fold the tarp under your tent flush with the tent itself instead of using the @MedlinAround approved technique of leaving it all spread out to act as a water catcher lol

Rush was $30 for the weekend. Some only paid $20. Primitive camping included, tent or RV
