I now have 2 AR's after purchasing another one a couple days ago. The first one is one that I bought piece by piece over the past 3.5 years and just finished it this summer. Put a magazine through it and back in the safe haha. Just plain jane Mil spec PSA AR-15 .223/5.56. Blackhawk adjustable stock, Blackhawk grip. I have other accessories for it (flashlight/bipod/laser/etc) but I have yet to change the handguard out to accommodate those.

This is my other AR...Just purchased it from a friends brother. Another PSA AR-15 .223/5.56 1/7 twist rifle with some nice furniture! I was excited to get this one and it was a steal of a deal $$.

Every time I almost pull the trigger (no pun intended) on a .308, I consider the thousands of rounds of 7.62x54R and thousands of rounds of 7.62x39 I have. I weeded out my "fun guns" a while back. I've been spending my gun money on ammo and training (and a few farkles here and there). I need more 5.56, and, as was evident this past weekend on the Florida Tacomas Camp 'N Ride at Citrus, I need better tires. Adding another boomstick to the quiver won't help either of those causes.

AND, in all honesty, if i was to get a .308, it would probably be the Century C308. I've been lusting after that pattern rifle since the first time I saw an H&K G3 ad on the back cover of a Soldier of Fortune magazine when I was in middle school...

    Here's a good one:
Anyone know of a picatinny rail offset extender that isn't 45*? I'm trying to work something out on one of my rifles, but need a horizontal mount that is not centerline with the barrel. Something like this, but with a flat mount that sticks out to the side as opposed to the angled mount.:

It's for something admittedly stupid so I don't want to spend a lot of money and some shitty ebay item would work. I even though about getting one of these and cutting/re-welding it to work, but even that might not be worth my effort.

Camera mount for a student film. Really duct tape would work, but I'm trying to do something that would be less conspicuous in wide shots.

The ones' I've seen are all in line with the barrel (directly on top or below). I kinda wanted something off to the side so we could hide the camera on the opposite side of the optic from camera view, without having to reset and fiddle with guns between shots or re-shoot a bunch of stuff.
