Stuff You Missed in History Class did a great podcast on him. He was amazing as a behavioral analysis subject.

Yeah, if I remember right it basically destroyed his frontal cortex and triggered a ton of behavioral changes. Basically had to completely relearn all of his social skills.

Wow imagine that, also imagine the countless followers of all those Doctors that believed them and that way of thinking, instead of the one who found truth in science and saved countless lives.

Same thing goes on today, just in different forms. Nothin new is under the sun.

Indeed. Scientists can be just as guilty of dismissing ideas that don't conform to their view of the world. We'd like to think otherwise, but those working in the sciences are just as human as the rest of us. (this observation also made directly in working with and supporting a number of theoreticians and experimentalists in a prior work engagement).

I heard or read somewhere that they were coming out with a blue tooth one that would connect to any BT audio source. Might be a fun thing to play with...

When I lived in Monterey we used to multi day backpack Big Sur and Las Padres. The level of incompetence and general lack of common sense was astounding.
