You can’t use Experticity unless you’re in various industries and either own a business therein or can prove you belong to one of their groups.

It’s basically an industry sales incentive website and manufacturers extend discounts for people in those membership groups. Not open to public.

Yep. There’s a number of groups already added, you just have to prove you belong.

Their customer service is great, so worth dealing with if you don’t know what group you might belong to or if you need to get approved.

Can you provide a link? I’m both military and first responder.

Probably fastest to call them once you get signed up. They can guide you through the process.

Then it’s just basic, quick “tests” for each manufacturer and you’re up and running.

Apparently I had an account there already. I think it’s been a few years since I’d been there under a different name.

Sure it'd be fine. You can about bank that 95% of all of them are made overseas anyway to begin with.

I guess the same people making them are designing them, putting in the engineering time and also getting you your customer service. So it makes sense. o_O

But Yakima's quality isn't up to par from reviews that I've read. But you get what you paid for so.... I would have never bought after reading reviews just saying.

Like there's good / bad on the exact same product, on every single product, ever. Sure some are built better quality, but you can about bank most are from overseas from a couple manufactures. At $600 i'll buy a rainfly and take my chance. If I blow away in the wind, then that's the chance most are willing to take over spending double that. I love my $120 Mictuning Lightbar from Amazon. Made great, great light output, and doesn't get condensation inside of it. I'll throw $120 before buying Rigid for 6x that price any day for the output. I'll pay $140 for my Rtic cooler over a named Yeti with the same exact outcome. Of course there's a lot of LED bars, like other things out there, not worth $.02. However, there's also a lot of price gouging because someone was the first or spends way more money on advertising to get their product out there. My .02

Skyrise tents are apparently excluded from the Pro Yakima discounts.

First time we opened this tent and we borrowed it brand new .. straight out of the box for a quick trip to RI to chase some surf. It’s a Coleman 4 person tent from Amazon. Right I think it cost from amazon was $65 or something. Wind resistant rain proof just like the high end tents. First freakin 10 seconds at 12:30am and I’m splinting this thing in Down Pours! Should have brought my king pine but it was just me and a buddy and we thought why not... get what you pay for and that’s just a snippet of the hand full of tent stories
