    I'm going with ebc yellowstuff for my next set of pads. But I don't mind squealy brakes when it's cold.

    Anyone using ceramics? Is there any reason to use them on our trucks? Never on a race track with this truck....

    I'm on my second set of Centric premium rotors and EBC yellow pads and don't have any complaints. Good stopping power with the yellows and no warping on the rotors. I also have SS lines. I tow a boat fairly frequently and stop hard in regular driving and they've held up. There may be better, but I haven't had a need to go looking either.

    Trd stickers for 10whp 32s on MK6 17s
    I've ran them all on Street/track vehicles. I know it sounds crazy but oem has done me the best unless your going with a full caliper upgrade. They hands down last the longest, least amount of brake dust and performance is on par with aftermarket performance pads. Just make sure you get the more expensive ceramic pads from dealer and not the cheaper alternative they offer.

    Low dust and long wear equals low stopping power which is what you get with ceramics. It's all about trade-offs and what you want wand what suits your needs.

    Stopping power is so ridiculously subjective. Especially if you've only ever been in road vehicles without performance brakes. I know people who thought their brakes were awesome until I took them for a ride in something with half decent pads that were properly bedded in.

    My Taco is starting to get the brake wobble too. Started about 34k miles on the clock. Pads are still there - but it's kind of annoying.

    Don't think I'll do OEM pads when it's time.

    Biggest factor I can see is heat dispensation but I do not see and glowing rotors in the trucks future...:cool:
