Ok, thanks for the quick response.
Those rails look great. If ever decide to get rid of the tonneau, I will definitely consider them or one of the bed racks you make.

Looks like a nice setup! Do you keep your RTT on most of the year?

I just got it this year, but no I won't be keeping it on all year, way to cold here , probably just may until September give or take. We went out mid September and it was -5 celcius at night or 23 farenheit , i was fine but my wife is more of a fair weather camper

Any issues washing the truck with the RTT on?

Love the setup only thing I don't like is the brackets stick out to far IMO.

The brackets stick out that far because they need to have clearance for certain covers. If they were any farther in, some covers wouldn't fit.

It's tough to clean the box of the truck out, I have the cvt tent and the covers are rugged and waterproof so no problems there

This is certainly personal preference, as I don't mind how far they stick out. And to be clear, I'm not diminishing your opinion, just I have a different one (and also, your post on that thread is one of the pieces of evidence for me to get these bars... so thanks for posting that).

Thanks for those closeups, digging that RTT with the inferno too. Is that the Kukenam?

I use and love the setup. But have bent the right side brackets in Moab at the narrow part of elephant hill. I know why they are that way I just wish they where narrower for my setup, the rotrax doesn't need the width.

I've got a Tuff Stuff and the build quality is great. Not sure how it compares to smitty though.

What's the typical spacing for the Voodoo bars needed for a RTT and still being able to open the first tonneau flap on the factory cover?

Is that a Retrax? That's what I have and the edge of mine sits really low to the bed rail, I would worry about water leaking in if it sat on top of the brackets.

How well does your Retrax cover sit on top of the brackets? Still seal well enough to keep out the elements?

So far I haven't heard any complaints about leakage with Retrax and these bars.

I didn't even cut the weather stripping after about 2 weeks it flattened out and seals well. If you cut and used silicone on bracket it would be tighter I guess but I didn't need it.
