Yep, commie MD sucks but trust me, NY is even worse. I'll be glad to leave MD when that time comes though.

But I do love my unit so that makes it a little more tolerable. Try getting a group of people and go to Rausch creek as much as possible or other off-road places

Well, I lived there as a kid back in the late 60's early 70's and swore I would go back some day. I would opt for the big island as you are right, the smaller ones are for tourists. Also there are parts of the big island that are as dry as desserts so no more snow and very little rain. I could drive my Taco to the beach every day. The biggest benefit is that it's American soil so I have that blanket. There are surely nicer places but I prefer the good ol' USA.

we lived on Oahu twice (dad was in the army), he was stationed at Schofield barracks, we lived on the beach just outside of Haleiwa , my front yard was the Laniakea shore break........long time ago!!
