you might want to try reading the sticky's first before posting stuff without a source to verify the claims. I hope people give a person with under 10 post (currently as of this post) a grain of salt.

 

I hope you're right! I looked at the options sheet for 2018 and it wasn't there....

I mean I was at the dealership and the sales manager told me it was discontinued.... I looked at the options sheet with my own eyes. But I'll feel bad if it turns out I'm spreading misinformation

 

the only issue I have is that there were more than the 2 models codes not discontinued that fit the bill.

so that still leaves a model code for each of the codes that were discontinued. see the attachment for ref.

 

edit : if you can select the 4x2 SR then you should be able to select the 4x4 version of the same SR. Toyota wouldn't just keep the 2wd version and get rid of the 4x4 version, doesn't make any sense compared to the other codes.

 

Where did you get your info on pricing?

 

This falls in line with what I'm hearing from my dealer. My 2018 that I ordered has a scheduled build date of 11/17.

 

It's speculation, pricing as far as I know is not out.

Looks like a manual tranny is still not available in a double cab with a 6 foot bed.

I’ve been dealing with both (Bend and Eugene) via email. Both dealers are about the cheapest in the state so far. I am looking for a 7570 FYI

 

Not the one in Eugene. Those guys are crazy and want $2k over MSRP for a pro.

 

How is that surprising? They've added more technology to it and there's always inflation. Prices of vehicles tend to go up as time goes on. This isn't that new.

 

Now this is odd - I'm seeing 7164 as an option still, but no 7513. Could very well be a mistake in our ordering system.


Like I said in the other thread, I'm not claiming anything, just wanting to know what's going on because I want a 2018 SR 5MT.

 

I know dozens of fellow river guides who beg to differ...

Sorry, I have only been asking about 2017's that they had on the lot. Forgot that little detail ha I have not asked them for prices on the 2018's.

I have been emailing a Brett in Eugene and a Luke in Bend I believe. Both seem to be pretty decent guys.
