could try a shorter stiffer spring to compensate instead of a lowering link along with the same upfront, give racetech a call

You got that right, I love the sound. Every once in a while I pull up this video just to hear it, sounds so badass. Sounds almost like a dam stock car doing a run down the track. If I get another sport bike it'll be a RSV4.

Btw your sig pic looks like you're on a mini bike lol.

you probably have too much static sag now. which will make it handle rough.

arm pump is a bitch, ha.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
did you get to do the skyway at all? ive heard people say they prefer it. ive never done either. how crowded was it and how many harleys did you see crossing the lines thinking they were going fast

yeah i rode the skyway. it was fun, a lot more open and just carrying speed through most of it. less traffic since its further away. but i really enjoyed both of them.

the dragon obviously has way more people on it but most people are courteous enough to use the pull offs to let pass. You do have to watch for cops since the speed limit is only 30mph but there was only one cop on the road while i was there and most bikers (exlcuding the harley/goldwing genre) would let you know ahead of time.

i think i went on one of the best days possible. it wasnt overly crowded since it was sunday and weather was a perfect 80°.

didnt see any harleys cross lines but passenger cars who cant drive were. one bike did lay it down in the grass right in front of me, not really sure what he was doing when that happened though. i saw another being gathered up from offroad as well.

Pds shock in the rear. Going to get it set up for my weight and height. I don't need 13" of travel on this cow. Man, I haven't been on a track in almost a few years. Something about having someone on your tail pushing you to ride harder so they can't pass. I'll probably avoid racetech for this bike and use a place that works with ktm's. I've used racetech on my old yamaha when I weighted 140lbs back in the day.

I have way too much static sag. Had to pull an additional inch over recommended so I don't fall over at red lights, lol. I'm just waiting for someone to chime in and say you should of bought a grom.

haha. my ktm is tall also, my main issue is just getting the stupid kickstand up since i cant get my foot under it to kick.

taking my 690 back to kc and throwing the grom in the truck for a while so im not towing a trailer or anything.

Stole my friends 450 last night. Going to see how many parts on it I can bend @ the sand dunes this weekend.

How do you guys hang your helmets at home/work? I have mine usually hung by the D ring but I have noticed that it pulls away at the inner foam liner. I'm not sure what to do about it other than just setting on a flat surface.

If you prefer hanging it buy a helmet bag and hang that, or set on a shelf

What if I don't have the space? Would there be any concern about the safety of the helmet from hanging it like this for long periods?
