Yep F150 2.5 OEM replacements. I’ll probably build come uppers for it and call it good. I’m looking for raptor take offs for the rear.

There was a set on T4R but seemed pricey.

I can get Kings for $700 shipped. Maybe I'll just do that. At least then it would match. Fuck this shit is expensive

i think my next project will be to fully remove this JBL system wiring and just run a 5 channel amp. I keep having issues with my wiring harness and its becoming very annoying.

i have a new headunit, all new speakers and aftermarket sub w/ amp. But the OEM JBL set up is beginning to fail. Easier just to buy a 5 channel and wire it all together to dump the JBL crap.

Just heard from DSM about the Kings I bought for $220 shipped. I have 3 options
One of the kings top nut is seized. After heat and 24 hours of soaking in penetrating oil, and 4 broken sockets, they can't get it. Short of cutting it, it's not coming off. Not only that but the preload ring is cross threaded onto the body. The second coilover is already rebuilt however.

    Option 1
I have them send me the kings as is. $130 for rebuild. Have one good coilover, one for parts. $220 + $130 and the ride home. Total invested $350 plus shipping

    Option 2
I have them send me my rebuilt one, my old one for parts, and one new one. They will have to build the new one, 4-5 weeks lead time. Rebuild and the new coil over from DSM for $800. Total invested is $1020 shipped

    Option 3
They send me the rebuild coilover and the busted one to do what I please with. They sell me two new coil overs off the shelf, convert them to extended length. $940 shipped from DSM. Total invested $1160

    Shit

Ouch. That good deal doesn't look so good anymore. Sorry to hear that. Only $140 between option 2 and 3 doesn't seem right, but I guess they can charge ridiculous prices for 1 coilover.

They have two coilovers, built on the shelf. Think it comes down to what's in stock and not having to build something.

between option two and three, three is the best. For just a bit more, you have a backup coilover.

In the future, if when you send your coilovers to get rebuilt, you can send them one at a time with no downtime of having your truck on blocks.

Thinking that option 2 is definitely out of the question. Leaning towards option 3. Have a deal on my icons lined up for $650 + 1/2 of shipping. And probably going to try and sell the one rebuilt King and the parts King for like $300 or something. If all that works as planned, I upgrade to kings for under $250. That's best case though.

its gonna be hard to sell just one king tho. Not everyone is willing to buy just one coilover..

@4x4runner2002 thinks he can get the second one's bolt off... That means two...

If I list it long enough, someone might bite. Worst case, just an extra like you said

Do option 1 then. It’s not like you don’t already have decent coil overs. Have Zach work on the other one

Might just do option 3. I get new coil overs for 920 shipped. And one coil over rebuilt for the price of a seal kit, $20. I want resis and clickers but really don't need them so off the shelf 2.5 coilovers will work fine.

If we get the other bolt to give, I already have one of the COs rebuilt. Rebuild the other one with new top hat, body, and seal kit. 2 rebuilt kings should be able to get at least $650. And all said and done, I'll have less than that in them so hopefully I can make some of my money back.

Worst case, ask parents for a loan. I'm still allowed to do that since I live with them for part of the year.
