    I'm sure you could order them without the resis, 1st gen Kings are sold almost everywhere without resis but you can special order them with resis if you want them.

    1300 is a bit high, i paid around 750-800 for a used ARE CX and i had to drive to eastern washington to get it. ARE is quality tho.

    make sure you pad/gasket the corners or else it might rub your paint down to the metal and you wont find out until the canopy comes off
