Let it happen. Vacation has begun!

 

It was May 11th of this year. I could not restrain myself any longer. This thread was born. I sorta figured an early start would (a) get this event on peoples agenda's ahead of other events, (b) give folks enough time to plan vacation time, and (c) build excitement. Looks like we succeeded for the most part.

There are a few people conspicuously absent from the list. A few I'd really like to have with us this weekend. But there is this thing called life that can get inthe way. I figured we would get 10 or 15 this year. There's closer to 50. (Got 8 from another site planning on being there) I'm still not sold on the idea that everyone on the list will show. But....looks like 40+ is still likely.

First year there was 3 of us. 3 drivers that had never met each other. We had BIG FUN!

Last year, 5. We had BIGGER FUN.

30 TO 50 this year. Gonna have HUGE FUN!

The weather keeps looking better and better too. I've accepted that it is going to rain on the party Saturday night but it won't be nearly as cold. Friday should be a great day.

 

I've been emailing with the guy from the campground, says there's plenty of room for us and usually isn't busy this weekend of the year. Says he had 600 people in last weekend for Fall Crawl and still had room.

 

I can handle the rain at night, sleep right through that shit, or just wheel through it. Right @dirty deeds? we wheeled through a damn monsoon this summer at RRG

 

We will have EZ UP CITY built, a few fires, who knows how much beer (and other things) plus a bunch of great people. A little rain can't dampen the spirits too much

 

And 600 on the other side @ Evarts campground. Fall Crawl sounds like a wild time tooo

 

Calling for 10-15mph winds out of the south on the way down and then 10-15mph winds from the north on the way back. So much for any semblance of decent fuel mileage going either direction

 

If I come it will be late Friday night, too much work to deal with. Wish I could come up sooner. Someone have some Jamerson and baileys ready when i get there.

Need to know some type of direction here, @dan0mite and myself will be arriving at campsite tomorrow afternoon. Which campsite # do we need to hold down until other get there? Is the #2 site the big one and that's where we need to set up camp? Thanks.
