    From DIL:

Simeon just ran over to his "spot" against the wall and said, "Timeout."
"Why are you in timeout?" I asked.
    "Push[ed] buttons" (on the Xbox)

Then after he sat there for a minute he said "All done, mommy!"
"Are you going to push buttons again?"
    "No, mommy. Sorry."

Sometimes I wish could stay stay young and huggable:) but they do grow up.

Back from the doctor after completing my annual physical. Had to make an appointment with my Dermatologist for a small growth on the upper lip and made an appointment with my Cardiologist for my annual checkup. Next year is my colonoscopy oh joy.

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to the new folks.

Tom, I can relate to your adventures with the doctors. The visit to my dermatologist last Monday was a simple scraping/cauterize of a small spot near my left ear. She's done several numbers on me .... including a carving/suturing of an area just below my bottom lip. Not bad, just gave me a speech impediment for a few days. She's really good, but loves Nitrogen and carving and I'm starting to wonder if she's a distant relative of Charles Manson !!

Want to talk about colonoscopys .... last year I had one, then was referred to a colon/rectal surgeon who ordered a MRI and later did rectal surgery (minor) using a robot (I fell in love with the robot). Bottom line, had to do three "preps" in three months. Better than NUTRISYSTEMS at losing weight.

Doesn't matter that I'm in great shape for my age .... they'll find something that needs fixing.

    Tex

3 preps in 3 months?!? I thought I had it bad, having to do one every 5 years!

But no matter. Get it done! Colorectal cancer is one of the easy ones to catch early and eradicate. My dad didn't, and it went too far, and he ended up with an 'appliance'. 39 years ago at this point, so he survived and went on to have a pretty full life, but he still has all sorts of issues related to the surgery and its after effects.

His best friend saw all of this happening and said "time to man up". They found the beginnings of a tumor in him too, took care of it, he was fine.

    Early detection fellas. Early detection.

Wow! Not on here for a couple of days and missed a lot.

Welcome to our new members and congrats to Carl on the nice buck and Walleyes and stripers!

Carl you should have purchased a lottery ticket while you were on a roll.

Those are the days we live for and remember forever.
