Thanks guys, dad bought the truck and crawled under it to look at replacing the leafs and he sent that to me because he didn’t know what it was, I guessed it had something to do with axle wrap but didn’t know.

Planning on rebuilding the leafs with part of a Chevy pack when he comes back from Cali.

With the right parts, they'll last. The only aftermarket HID system I bought was for my friends sister, It was from a reliable company and it actually outlasted the crappy kit he got for her foglights w/ the exception of a bad bulb. The ballast hasn't rusted or anything and is still kicking.

My sister's car, mom's car, my car and the truck all run oem koito and denso ballast. The relay system you can build yourself with quality relays.

Q: Will 13WL Tundra calipers fit with 16" 1st gen steel spare wheels? I think no, but I hope yes, since I have a set on loan from @drr...

Hmm, good question. They fit with 1" wheel spacers just fine, but I didn't try without the spacers.

Anyone ever use these before? Do you have to drop the tank? I emailed them and haven’t got an answer...

So yesterday fedex delivered my new weatherstrips for my Tacoma only to find them bent to shit! Talk about getting heartbroken when you get new parts. So I contacted @gunny1005 and he overnight shipped some new ones! I’m so happy for the A+ service that he provides, will be ordering more parts from him in the near future. You the real MVP @gunny1005

    Here are the pics.

Mine also has 16" 2nd gen wheels
I plan to keep it period correct and install the special order 15" wheels I had on the previous truck, that I kept all these years. Thinking about refinishing them and go polished faces with bronze background.

hahaha, turns out that I have 2 first gen and 2 second gen. Right now, I've got the first gen on the front (they have a smaller backspacing). Maybe I'll just give it a try tomorrow. I wonder if I can mount the caliper w/o doing the whole brake, just to see if it'll fit...

It's all good, I'm just set in my plans for my truck lol. Plus I love the 96-97 fascia and I can get multiple options like the ARB H4's or led units since it's a standard size light. I love the quality and look of projectors, but for my truck I just have other plans - I try to justify it with that I'll be able to find a replacement bulb in any podunk town, but like you said with the quality parts (had a diy kit from trs all picked out for my 2nd gen before I started building my first gen) the longevity is going to be pretty legitimate.
