    Just the basics
I wish I appreciated the desert when I was at the stumps. I came back and visited some friends and my gunny said jokingly that the dust didnt settle on the highway for weeks after I left. I just went to Joshua Tree day before yesterday and it was pretty damn cool. Then again the stumps for me was almost 16 years ago. Things change as you get older. Looking back there are times when I wish I had stayed in for 20...I would only have 4 left and ooooh rah retirement! Oh well, in another life maybe. Should have gone air guard anyway, yes I do understand somewhat your dismay about the Corps.

Hey fellow vets, thank you for your service.

As a vet myself I appreciate your service whether it be 2 years or 20+.

I myself served proudly for 14 years spending my time on several trident subs.
