Stock boost is how much PSI? and how much more PSI will the pulley upgrade yield?

Also, would the higher PSI create so much heat that the thermal efficiencies of the blower be reached and exceeded?

 

Stock avg is 5.5 to 6.5psi depending on conditions and bolt ons.
Hes running nst lower pulley. Hard to find, and that post says 8.5lbs

Hes running a 7th injector which not only provides more fuel to burn, but also cools the rotors.

I've got a baseline dyno done, re-running wit the Magnuson blower tuesday. Does BD/Magnuson provide free tune adjustments from datalogs? Mine is uh, not great.

According to their chat support the GT doesn't support datalogging or anything custom outside of manually loading tune files. Looks like I'm giving OV a call, I'd rather not blow up my truck, haven't even owned the damn thing for a month.

 

How so? What was not great about the results?

 

Haven't put it on the dyno, but in 3rd above 4k at WOT it is either misfiring or knocking quite noticeably. It doesn't feel like a misfire, so I think its knock, but I've never had a car knock so I can't be sure. Drives alright at lower throttle levels, and seems perfectly fine below 4k so I'm just driving around it currently. But eventually I want a 2.55 pulley and fueling mods and all the goodies so I'll need to tune it either way, I just didn't plan on doing it so soon since that stuff isn't gonna happen until spring.

Do you have a TRD flash like you planned:

 

I thought URD blowers came with the TRD flash but apparently it is a Magnuson/bully dog tune and is different than the TRD one. According to them internets at least.

I'd already have their stuff if he wasn't on the other side of the world till the end of the week.

 

You bought URD supercharger with a BullyDog tuning device? How is that possible? Or do you mean you bought Magnuson supercharger from URD?

They show as silver billet pulley's, but they are actually black. They also come in sizes as low as 2.5" flat.

I run the 2.5.

 

Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but while I was combing through URDʻs site I noticed that they have T-56 transmission upgrade as an option.

Is the OEM Tacoma not that strong? what are the limits? My goal is 15psi + supporting mods and whatever power it makes....
