    I'm looking to get a remote starter for my 2012 Tacoma. I'm looking for recommendations for the best one to get. thanks

    Note that some add an additional fob, while others replace your existing fob with one that has locks + remote start function. I have Clifford. My only issue with it is using the lock function does not use the factory chirp and amber indicators. Instead it uses a horn beep and corner lights.

    iv got an aftermarket Viper and fairly happy with it. I recommend the ability to start with your phone vs just the fob. i didn't get it because i thought the rated half mile range or so would be enough. depends on terrain and such. for me being in a major medical center and parked in parking garages and such iv got to be pretty close to get it to start and it just isn't as cool as i want it in houston summers. just my opinion.
