South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Tropical: pineapple, guava, passion fruit, etc. are the typical flavor notes you'll get. It's delicious.

 

Respect for attempts at new beer... flavors, but sorry, not an IPA. That's a flavorita at that point. Can't call it a beer.

 

Full time job straight out of college. Will be making 6 figures within 2-3 years. Don't think that qualifies me as stupid.

All about the hops my friend. Beer ain't what it used to be. You can get more complex flavors from beer than you can wine. This one clocked in at a 6.7% which ain't bad for a single IPA. Got some nice stouts at home that are up in the 18-19% range

 

Beer is what it always has been. Beer. California dude tries to add new names for beer... Still beer. More hops, more ABV, still beer...

 

The NE area has quite the beer scene too
Beer is just better than what it used to be. It's not all glorified water now

 

You need a thicker skin Bryan....

6 figures pay in 3 yrs and no college and debt either....how you like them apples.

a number of breweries here in SC add fruit to their beers. Lines out the doors too!

@themadzapflasher just mentioned a mango beer brewed in Pageland, SC the other day. A few places here and in Rock Hill do the same.

I dont like all of them- some are too fruity, but some are good!

I Like more of a German Kolsh style of beer...

 

IPA too trendy for me..... give me a stout or lager

 

Kolsch is kind like a lager too! Just easy to drink. I like to drink, but I am not 20 anymore...

That stuff at Bruery Terreaux was interesting. Some had way too much fruit.

Others i wanted to drink by the gallon, but the alcohol % was sooo high!
