Man that is nice. I like that bumper too. Might have to build something like that for my 4Runner. If they weren't such gas hogs I would have had one of these things a long time ago. I like the idea of no timing chain and just a timing gear though.

That one has a LS V8 and an 80's series frame and suspension.

... ^^^ ... Saw this "Car-Show" sign blocking the elevator door at the mall this morning.

This show is getting bigger and bigger every month.

This branch of C&O started out maybe 15 years ago with some nurses doing a charity event -- having donuts and coffee off an exit on Hwy 400 -- with cars displayed in a few office parks.

...^^^... I drove one when I was doing jobs in college ... i.e. .... US Army Corps of Engineers at Fish-Trap Damn & Reservoir .... and when working as a meter reader during the summer for the American Electric Power Co. .... loved those things .... had to drive up small mountains to read a meter far away on an electric fence way out in the boonies.

I learned NOT to get them side-ways on hills too ...

Nice project, I love the 64-66 mopar hardtop roofline with the different angles.

Looks like someone added 68 side markers at some point.

Thank you! The slab side I feel are the best looking and it being a 2 door makes it that much more badass.

Yeah it seems early in its life someone added the marker lights, honestly looks almost factory

    ...^^^... That color looked like a Berry-Flavored-Creamsicle ... :hungry:

I really didn't like that car at the time either.

Now, I love it now for its' different (weird) o_O styling and how the whole front, including turn signals, are all kinda coordinated in weird way ...

It's funny how your tastes in a lot of things change as you age and get more experience in life.

    I was a GM lover back in the 1960's ... except for those cool MoPar engines ... i.e. 340, 383, 426 and 440.

Got into a long conversation at the bar to some old car nut about his gas vapor system in his Camaro. It was a tricked out turbo V8. Seemed a bit unbelievable. Wouldn't let me take pictures. He was getting a patent and stuff. You guys ever see or here about such things?

Not on anything as big as a Camaro. Always thought they were for economy, not power.

My rides back in the mid 90's, 63-66 Impala's. I wish I had better pics, they were both super clean inside and out.
I was just doing the math and I paid just under 15K for both of them combined. I had a stock 63 Impala wagon too but I don't think it qualifies as car porn..
