A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
it makes them softer and they warn that if you do not wash them first -- and you have the lighter seats --there may be some color transfer

Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure that I do that. I have the grey seats so I don't want the gravel seat cover to stain the seats.

I see a lot of threads for seat covers. I need something waterproof, because I surf and my seats are always wet and salty.
What do folks think about Wet Okole? Other recommendations appreciated.
    Cheers,

Definitely dig my Bartact seat covers. They are very well made and durable. Plus lots of storage options with them, zippered pocket up front and in back plus the molle. Very easy to clean and deal with dog hair as well.

I think Wet Okole are made in Hawaii and designed pretty much for that specific purpose.

Edit: Looked it up made in Cali not Hawaii

There is no better seat protection from liquids than the Wet Okole's.
My sister and brother used them in Hawaii for years. I got them this round because I'm constantly coming off the river and straight into the truck.
Forgo the piping and they're indestructible, IME.

Don’t know about “Best” ones but I’ve used a few including Wet Okole and Seatcovers Unlimited and the best deal so far is Coverking through Costco. Free shipping and I put them in my 21 and my daughters 17 doublecabs. We put the ones from seatcoversunlimited in my wife’s 4Runner and I used them in several other trucks in the past and they run $200-$300 more for the sets. Have had my Coverkings for about 8 months now and they seem just fine.

I'll let you know at the end of the month, but after looking around. I ended up ordering headwaters.

I was wondering the same. Leaning toward Clazzio myself. Is it worth doing custom colors and waiting on them or just order black leather?

My buddy has them...their ok but a real pita to install. Just remove the seat bolts first, and tip the seat forward. Your save yourself from getting hamburg hands. As far as good and cheap covers...not sure if those two go together. I like my mossy oak carhartt covers. After a year their holding up real well. I suspect they will wear like iron.
